How faith works.

Spiritual growth

Faith is not believing and believing isn’t faith.  If you are in the realm of believing (present tense) you cannot be in the realm of receiving (present tense).  The bible says that faith “is” the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Heb 11:1).  Faith is present like God is present “the great I Am.”  Faith is the manifestation of the thing you pray for.  The universe and all it encompasses was framed by the word of God (Heb 11:3) so that nothing exists that is not created by him.  Even our very lives were written by God so that even though we have “free will” we are not in complete control (Ps 139).  The word of God is, was and will be, his word is the only thing elevated above his name(Ps 138:2).  The spoken word of God is the framework of his creation and by speaking it in “faith” we conform the world to his will.  However keep in mind that whatever we speak in “faith” already lines up with his word so we cannot change it by simply speaking.  That is why it is important to HEAR the word of God and allow it to bring forth fruit in our hearts.
